Florists in Fulham, florists in Wimbledon and florists in Harrow have had a whole new world of flowery delight opened up to them with the recent launch of the Interflora Flower School.

Florists from all over the region will gather in London’s West End for specialist classes to be run by experts at Interflora on a regular basis. The hope is to spread the word about the delight of working with flowers, aiming to attract new and experienced and young and old flower fans from miles around.

The florists, some of whom own their own shops around the country, will be running very hands on courses for people of all ages to get stuck into flower arranging and being generally creative with all kinds of blooms.

Attendees will learn some of the best techniques in the world of floristry and will get to meet like-minded people at the same time, so it is a great social opportunity at the same time. Interflora are running classes in the afternoon as well as the evening, so the experts’ advice will be available to people with all different work shift patterns and circumstances.

With the first class pencilled in for the 23rd of November, the sessions will feature plenty of festive ideas for you to warm up your home this Christmas, including the delightful Christmas centrepiece. The courses will be running throughout November and December, so you’ll have plenty of chances to create whatever you want to impress your Christmas visitors this year.

The classes can be booked online on the Interflora website over the next few months. They are available to book as surprise gifts for your loved ones, too, so you can enjoy the experience with somebody else or send them on a delightful journey of floristry if they’ve got a birthday coming up.

The florists running the classes are amongst the best in the country. Sarah Horne has previously won the RHS Florist of the Year and was recently selected as one of the top 50 florists in the UK. David Ragg has previously won a gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for his expert exhibition and has represented the UK at the Interflora World and Europa Cups.

They, amongst many others, have an absolute wealth of knowledge about the world of floristry that they are more than eager to share with you over the next few months, so be sure to book your place in one of the classes as soon as you can on the Interflora website.
